General Information
Silicone coated fibreglass fabric is impregnated on both sides with white or red silicone. The silicone coating prevents air and liquids from passing through the fabric, reduces pitting, and increases resistance to abrasion and to molten metal. In addition, the silicone coating becomes brittle at temperatures of over 315 ºC.

Applications
It is basically used in the fabric of curtains at the entrance and exit of heat shrink chambers to prevent the heat escaping from them and to protect technicians who work near them from the heat. It is also used on conveyor belts for industrial processes, heat pads, non-stick dividers for viscous processes, the manufacture of chemicals, etc.
