Lork Industrias

General Information

This is an industrial thermoplastic similar to glass with an amorphous structure noted for its hardness. It offers high resistance to impact that surpasses the physical properties of all similar materials. Polycarbonate sheets are optically clear but not as shiny as those of PMMA. Their resistance to temperature and dimensional stability are good. For outdoor use, sheets with UV protection on either side are recommended.

Temperature

-100ºC +120ºC

Density

1,2 gr/cm3

Properties
  • Extreme resistance to impact
  • Good fire protection rating
  • Excellent behaviour in outdoor conditions (UV rays)
  • Good dimensional stability
  • It may be moulded, glued or welded
  • Self-extinguishing
  • High resistance to shattering
  • High resistance to chemical agents
