General Information
Polyurethane is a linear elastomeric polymer that has great resistance to wear and abrasion. It has excellent elasticity and a high load bearing capacity. Due to its great rebound capacity, it is considered a good absorber of vibrations and impacts. It performs well with diluted acids, oils and fuels, which makes it highly suitable for contact with lubricants, fuels and machinery in general. Exposure to extreme outdoor conditions and prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light do not affect its properties, although its surface becomes darker. Although it can withstand temperatures ranging from between -20 ºC and 80 ºC, it is recommended not to exceed 50 ºC in contact with water.

Applications
It is basically used for the manufacture of rollers, cylinders, sleeves, bearings, scrapers, clamps, casings, etc. in die making, tooling, aeronautics and industry in general. It is also used for the manufacture of wheels with a high load bearing capacity and other components in the transport and lifting industry, accessories for snow ploughs, etc. It is high recommended for applications related to sifting sands and clays, lining hoppers, brushings for trucks, mixing blades for concrete mixers, etc., and wherever resistance to abrasion and impacts is required.
