This is a cotton-based laminate impregnated with thermosetting phenol resin. It is characterised by its great mechanical resistance and low fiction coefficient. It has good resistance to water, fatty oils and diluted acids. It has a great capacity for absorbing vibrations, is easy to machine and has great interlaminar cohesion properties.
