General Information
High quality sponge rubber that has excellent resistance to high temperatures, ozone, ageing and chemical products in general. It comes in sheets, profiles and cords that have a smooth outer impermeable layer and an inner layer of closed-cell porous silicone. All formats can be supplied with an adhesive strip.

Applications
The spongy quality of these sheets means they are commonly used in applications that need to be watertight, insulated, able to absorb shock and rebound to original thickness under compression. This material is also used in applications that require high vibration absorption, low thermal conductivity and anti-slip properties. Additionally, as it is made of silicone it is used in any applications in which rubber is unable to resist temperature, wear or ageing. Given that it is no toxic and that it has been homologated for sanitary use, it is widely used for applications in the healthcare sector, analytical instrumentation products, medical diagnostic equipment and in the manufacture of gaskets and other components for the food industry.
